Prof. Dr. Armando Silva Afonso is Chairman of the Board of ANQIP, a member of the UN Water Expert Group on Water Scarcity, a member of the Board of the Unified Water Label Association (UWLA), Vice-Chairman of the Water Committee of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO). Chairman of the Board of the Regional Assembly of the Centre Region of the Order of Engineers, Guest Professor at the University of Aveiro (retired) and with a career dedicated to the study of water efficiency in buildings over the years.
